SEPANG, Nov 14 — The Malaysian Quarantine and Inspection Services Department (Maqis) seized 40kg of birds’ nests, worth RM240,000, for export to Vietnam, at Kuala Lumpur International Airport 2 (klia2) on Saturday.

SERDANG, Aug 12 — The government has agreed to allow the hiring of additional foreign workers for the bird's nest industry, specifically to clean raw swiftlet nests, in order to overcome the labour shortage facing the industry.
